¶ This intense two day conference will explore the business side of illustration with heavy emphasis on self-promotion and marketing and the basics of setting up your business.

Get your entries ready for the Richmond Illustrators Club's 4th Juried Show.
The Deadline is the 15th of April and entering couldn't be easier. Just go to:

By the way, entries are a great value at $20 for the first entry and $5 for subsequent ones.
The show location is great too. The Ghostprint Gallery is located on Broad Street right in the heart of Richmond. So it gets plenty of traffic and is a wonderful space to be displayed.

IC's first Sketch Day

Hi Everyone,
The Club is working to build some new energy and we'd like to follow in the footsteps of another event we won't name here.
Let's just call it "Sketch Day"
Here's information on how to participate in this free event sponsored by the Illustrators Club:
First, we will meet in front of National Gallery of Art (West building) at 11:00 am.
Please bring any form of sketching materials (paper, pen, watercolor, IPad, computer, camera...).
We will then spread out and spend 2 hours drawing from different places around Smithsonian and National Mall.
At 1:00 pm we gather again at the Cascades Restaurant in the National Gallery to eat and chat.
